What is a polarizing device or filter?Light, which reflects off surfaces such as pavement, water, snow and automobiles produces reflections commonly known as "glare". To filter out this glare, a polarizer is used; such as in special lenses for high quality sunglasses, ski goggles and camera filters. PolaVisor is precision manufactured with the same type of polarizing material. What is the difference between PolaVisor and other automotive visors?Removable anti-glare visors for automotive have been around for a long time. In fact, there are many different kinds available on the market. The problem is none of them can reduce dangerous glare efficiently. From appearance, Polavisor looks like other visors; but the lens material of Polavisor is totally different with much superior quality. Lens of PolaVisor is polarized. Polarizer has been proven to be the best way to reduce reflected glare. Lenses of other visors are made with colored plastics sheets. How is Polavisor constructed?The Polavisor consists of a thin polarizing film laminated between two pieces of high quality, acrylic lens material.
