The solid ramp is designed to elevate a wheelchair or scooter a limited height (the rise) in a safe distance. The maximum height is 20 inches for an occupied wheelchair. The length is 3 to 5 feet. You need to select the item based upon the width which must be greater than the wheelchair but fit in the space available. Wider ramps are usually safer. Then you select the item that matches your rise requirement. The longer is usually safer – less slope.
