Portable Wheelchair Ramp Safety

The portable ramps that we offer are manufactured by Prairie View Industries. These ramps are listed in Underwriter Laboratories Online Certification Directory. This means that they have been evaluated by UL and found to have been manufactured in compliance with their safety requirements.

The ramps feature an anti-slip, high traction surface for your safety and depending upon the type of ramp they include steel security pins, special straps for locking multiple panels together and/or safety guides as visual aids that indicate if larger ramps are on a safe slope.

A package shipped with the ramp includes safety instructions on a DVD, printed safety instructions in a pamphlet and safety instructions attached to the under-side of the ramps.

Whenever a ramp is used with the wheelchair or scooter occupied, an assistant is needed to assure safety.
